Although our first mobile shop was on the road in 1970, it was not until 1971 that we opened our first shop. It was designed to appeal to two main markets: discerning customers who take a real, informed interest in their meat and, just as important,  beginners seeking advice and guidance. We moved to our current premises in 1978. Our staff members are all trained, experienced and embrace the concept of personal service. Many of our customers have been shopping with us since the shop opened, and the team takes an interest in every one.

Personal service is complemented by the care we take sourcing our produce… local meat, local produce, local farms, local butcher – the perfect combination.

If we’re new to you, you’ll be astonished by our range of meats and butchery. Take a look at the product list. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, simply ask us. If we don’t stock it, we’ll find it for you and cut it to your liking.
